Zantrex 3
Zantrex 3 asserts that it went head-to-head against the most popular fat burner in the United States and was found to be 546% more effective than even those banned fat burners that contain ephedra. Zantrex 3 is ephedra-free but not stimulant free. One suggested dose of Zantrex 3 has the caffeine equivalent of 3 cups of coffee. This product is meant to give you a three-pronged weight loss attack in the form of elevated fat burning and metabolic rates, appetite suppression, and the energy to maintain a healthy lifestyle. These are the basic claims that you will hear from a supplement company but does Zantrex 3 rise to its own hype?
What are the ingredients?
Zantrex 3’s fat burning powers can be ascribed to a “proprietary xanthine-based stimulant.” In layman’s terms Zantrex 3 has a blend of ingredients all of which contain a significant amount of caffeine. These ingredients include yerba mate, green tea, guarana, cocoa and kola nut and they also offer herbal benefits beyond their stimulant content. Caffeine is a common ingredient in supplements as it has profound weight loss potential and thermogenic properties. It, of course, comes with potential side effects such as insomnia, the jitters, anxiety and headaches. Zantrex 3 also utilizes maca root, ginseng, and damiana — herbals that are best known for their ability to work as aphrodisiacs.
Bottom line
Zantrex 3 appears to have the elements necessary to achieve weight loss. The ingredients are well established and there aren’t any crazy theories behind its development. Some of the ad material is a bit over the top and off-putting but, if it works, even that can be overlooked. We encourage that you only use this product in conjunction with exercise and proper diet or else your results will be minimal and fleeting. For those of you with caffeine sensitivity we do not recommend that Zantrex 3 become your supplement of choice.
