CarboCurb Reviews

CarboCurb is a fat burner that is for those who are looking to lose weight naturally and in a healthy way. It is based on a fiber that is supposed to help suppress your appetite, control carb absorption, and regulate your digestive system. It is supposed to be great for your overall health while promoting safe and natural weight loss. It seems like a fairly good product. So does it work?

What are the ingredients?
Konjac Root – This is really just a source of Glucomannan. This ingredient has actually been shown in studies to be effective in weight loss, especially for those who are considered obese. When taken in before meals (at least 1 gram) it was shown to help participants lose 5.5 pounds more than those who did not use this ingredient. This ingredient has also been shown to be healthy for cholesterol levels, and the digestive system.

Bottom line
Overall a healthy product. It is all natural, and safe. We really don’t see any side effects that would come from it. However, it will not necessarily help you lose weight. We really doubt that it has enough glucomannan to really help you lose weight. Participants were taking 1 gram before each meal. That would have to be quite the concentrated pill. The official site doesn’t have an official ingredients list which just seems to tell us that they really don’t contain enough of the ingredient. There may be other health benefits that you can see, but don’t expect a lot of weight loss with this product.

Caralluma Burn Reviews

Caralluma Burn Reviews

Caralluma Burn seems to be like many other appetite suppressants. It is based on one ingredient. That ingredient is found in a poor country, and used by hunters to suppress their appetites on long hunts. It is also supposed to help you lose weight by helping you eat less. Sound familiar? Sure does to us, it sounds a lot like Hoodia. For those who follow diet pill ingredients know that Hoodia is a just an ineffective and dangerous ingredient. This product uses Caralluma Fimbriata as it’s main ingredient. Maybe this ingredient is better than Hoodia. It is supposed to be all natural, so does it really work?

What are the ingredients?
Caralluma Fimbriata – This ingredient comes from India. It is not a usual weight loss ingredient. Instead many use it for a spice in cooking. However, it has been discovered that it may have some appetite suppressing abilities. That may be true, but it must be taken in quite a potent amount. A diet pill just isn’t enough to give you the amount you need to really affect your appetite.

Bottom line
We don’t suggest you go with a pure appetite suppressant. It is good to combine it with something that can increase your metabolism, or boost your body’s ability to burn fat. The main ingredient in this product has not been able to provide weight loss results in studies. Keep looking for products that can help you in more than one way. This product may offer you a money back guarantee, but we’re not sure it’s even worth your time.

Slim 10 Reviews

Slim 10 Reviews

Slim 10 is a weight loss aid that is packed to the brim with cutting edge compounds and ingredients. Slim 10 asserts that it is the best dietary supplement on the market because it uses the best to create its superior blend. Slim 10 retails for $75.

What are the ingredients?

Slim 10’s ingredients include advantra-z, tonalin, super citrimax, phase 2, 7-Keto, Comipure, slimaluma, neopuntia, forslean, and chromemate. This product also boasts of containing 500mg of authentic hoodia gordonii. Slim 10 insists that all of these ingredients are clinically proven to facilitate dramatic weight loss. All 10 of the above ingredients are patented for weight loss and are considered to be effective to some degree in a weight loss formula. This is a unique thing to find as many supplement manufacturers add “fillers” (useless and cheap ingredients) to their blends in order to pump up the ingredient catalog without having to shell out the cash for quality ingredients. Slim 10 also offers a 90 day money back guarantee if you are unsatisfied with their product. Advantra-Z is a compound in the same chemical family as the now banned ephedra. Ephedra was a powerful weight loss toll that, unfortunately, also caused some major health issues.

The patented products are extremely powerful and come with a host of warnings associated with them. This is not a product to be taken lightly. If you have stimulant or caffeine sensitivities this is not a product you should try. Possible side effects are insomnia, anxiety and headaches. Furthermore this product boasts of using 500mg of “authentic” hoodia gordonii. Hoodia is a completely useless ingredient that has gained fame but has not earned its reputation. Even more interesting is the fact that hoodia is currently unavailable for export as the South African government can banned exportation of this plant.

Bottom line

Slim 10 seems to have as many drawbacks as it has advantages. There is no denying the potential strength of this formula but risks are just as possible as results. We would suggest finding a milder product at least until Slim 10 can give us a more reasonable and well researched idea of what this product could result in. We aren’t comfortable recommending Slim 10 at this time.

Slender Shaper Reviews

Slender Shaper Reviews

Slender Shaper is not an ingestible weight loss agent. Slender Shaper is a mechanism that acts as a conduit for an electrical current that passes from it to your muscles in order to stimulate muscle generation. The theory is that this electric current will issue such a powerful jolt to your muscles that they will recognize it as exercise, thereby allowing you to develop lean muscle with minimal effort. Slender Shaper is a product that was developed in Canada and claims you can apply their mechanism to any portion of your body and that it will cause the muscle located in that area to be stimulated and to grow in strength. Lean muscle mass is an essential element in boosting your metabolism for long term weight loss.

What are the ingredients?

Slender Slim has no ingredients because it is not a traditional supplement. The Slender Shaper is, in essence, a strong massager. Massage can have multiple health benefits mainly that it can cause you to have an increased feeling of relaxation. Stress can be harmful to your heard and can even cause you to have elevated blood pressure so having a relaxation technique is medically suggested for everyone.

Bottom line

Slender Shaper cannot deliver the results that they claim. Muscles are built and strengthened through exercise because you are basically tearing the muscle down and it increases as it repairs itself. The amount of an electrical current needed to facilitate this reaction would be extremely painful and unsafe to administer. It would be a wonderful world if we could do nothing and still achieve the results that usually come from hard work. Sadly, that is just not the case in this situation. In order to see a leaner and more toned body you will need to exercise, at least to some degree. We do not recommend Slender Shaper.

CalTrap Calorie Inhibitor Reviews

CalTrap Calorie Inhibitor Reviews

CalTrap Calorie Inhibitor is a calorie control sprinkle. You just sprinkle it on your food and it can help you absorb up to 25% less calories. It is based on the Konjac root. This root is made up of water and Glucomannan. It is mainly a fiber that creates a feeling of fullness while helping you to absorb less calories. It is not designed for quick weight loss, but instead to help you eat less for gradual weight loss. There has actually been a study that has shown it to be effective in helping volunteers to lose some weight. So will it work for you?

What are the ingredients?
It really only contains two ingredients. The first is Konjac root. This is used for the Glucomanna. There have been a few studies that show that those who take at least 1 gram of this with 8 ounces of water before each meal were able to lose a little bit of weight.

Cellulose is the other ingredient. This is used for consintency.

Bottom line
This product is not for everyone, and will not help you lose a lot of weight. However, if you’re taking enough of it then it may help you lose some weight. Not everyone likes the sprinkle because of texture, and because it is not as discrete. However, some people hate taking pills so for them this would be a good option. They do offer a free trials, and a 30 day money back guarantee. Just make sure that they don’t put you on an auto-ship program after the free trial. We like to suggest products that have more proven ingredients than just one, and that also contain fat burners. However, if you’re just looking for something to help you eat less than this may be a good option.

Calogel Reviews

Calogel Reviews

Calogel is a formula that is meant to work while you are sleeping, or else in the morning when you first wake up depending on which formula you get. There is an AM and PM formula. They are the same exact formula so I guess it just depends on when you take it. Either way it should be taken on an empty stomach. This is supposed to help your body use the most calories to burn the protein that is in the formula. It is an all natural formula that does not contain any caffeine or stimulants. So does it work?

What are the ingredients?
Aloe Vera – This ingredient is actually used as a diuretic. It has been suggested that it helps with digestion and acts as a detox. That has yet to be proven, and there may be a few side effects along with aloe vera including liver dysfunction and dermatitis.

Lecithin – This ingredient comes from soy. It is useful in raising HDL and decreasing LDL, but has no use in weight loss.

Safflower Oil – This is great for cooking, but has not benefits for weight loss unless you substitute it for other heavier oils.

Collagen (protein) – This ingredient is good for building lean muscle mass. This is supposed to be the key ingredient because your body will use it to burn more calories. However, if you are you not active it will just end up storing it.

Bottom line
Calogel is really not effective for weight loss. It’s ingredients are not meant for weight loss, and the science behind it is unproven. If you’re taking protein you should be active, not going straight to sleep. We suggest that you find a product that will allow you to get your money back, and one that actually has proven ingredients.

CalmSlim Reviews

CalmSlim Reviews

CalmSlim is a fat burner that is supposed to help women block carbs, suppress their appetite, boost metabolism, and overall lose weight. Sounds great doesn’t it? It’s even a holisitic approach that is based on natural ancient Chinese medicine. There are so many products on the market that contain harmful chemicals that can leave you contstantly worrying about side effects and recalls. So is this natural product the one to help you lose weight?

What are the ingredients?
Brindle Berry – This ingredient is also known as garcinia cambogia. This ingredient is actually a fairly food ingredient. It has been shown to decrease the amount of carb that are absorbed if it is taken along with the carbs. The weight is not a lot, but at least it can show some results.

Chromium – This ingredient has shown mixed results in studies. It may have the potential to curb sugar cravings, but the jury is still out.

White Kidney Bean – This ingredient is supposed to block carb absorption. It has proven good in other medications and in diabete medications, but has yet to prove itself for weight loss.

Rubus Fruit – This ingredient is actually just blackberry. It has some good antioxidants, but no weight loss potential.

Gymnema Sylvestre – This has been used in many weight loss ingredients, but has yet to show results. It is supposed to help block fat from being absorbed.

Green Tea – Good weight loss ingredients. Boosts the metabolism and aides in weight loss. However, must be used in a minimum of 400 mg. Most products just don’t contain that much.

Bottom line
There are other products that actually contain proven fat burners. This product only has one, and we really don’t think it has enough to be effective. We suggest that you find another product that is proven. We also suggest that if you’re looking for a weight loss pill for just women that you find a pill that actually has unique ingredients unlike this one.

BullsEye7 Reviews

BullsEye7 Reviews

BullsEye7 is the infomercial and internet advertised new diet pill. It is supposed to help you hit the bulls eye in weight loss to achieve the goals you are looking for. They have several different kits that are directed to how much weight you want to lose. One kit is supposed to help you lose 10 pounds. The other kit is supposed to help you lose 20, and the third kit is supposed to help you lose at least 30, but they say even up to 50 pounds or more. Now to us that just doesn’t seem possible. Sure, people can lose over 50 pounds. However, that is not going to be because of a diet pill. That would come from exercise and diet. Let’s take a look at the ingredients to see if this product can even help you lose 10 pounds.

What are the ingredients?
That is a good question. When we looked on the official site they do not list the official ingredients. They talk about a ingredient that is clinically proven to help decrease cortisol and stress levels to increase weight loss. They say that this specially patented ingredient can help you fight emotional eating associated with mood swings. However, they never give the name of the ingredient. Another site listed green tea and caffeine as the main ingredients. None of those are patented, and are only effective for weight loss if used in the high amounts. So really we are unsure what the ingredients really are.

Bottom line
There are other products on the market that are more up front with you. This product does offer a 100% money back guarantee. However, so do other companies that actually tell you what ingredients they are putting into their supplements. We suggest that you find a product that doesn’t try to hide anything from you.

Brazilian Phyre Reviews

March 5th, 2010

Brazilian Phyre Reviews

Brazilian Phyre was a fat burner that came from the Amazon rain forests in Brazil. It was manufactured in the U.S., but was supposedly developed by doctors who observed the Brazilians diet. The names of the doctors are not mentioned anywhere so we are a little skeptical that it was actually created by doctors. What we do know is that it was based on 4 different berries found in the Amazon. Out of these four berries, Cha de Bugre, Catuaba, Acai, and Guarana, only one of them is actually found to have any weight loss effects. Guarana is a popular weight loss ingredient because of its caffeine content. It has been shown to increase metabolism if taken in high concentrations. Most products, however, don’t use the right amount. The other ingredients are all just hyped-up ingredients that people claim will help you melt the pounds away. All of them contain good antioxidants and vitamins, but none of them will actually help you lose weight. Because of this factor this product did not produce any profits, and has since been discontinued.

8Zone Reviews

8Zone Reviews

8Zone claims to be the ultimate diet pill that will help you to enhance and effectively promote greater effects, because obviously it’s produced by a professional athlete. So why not right? Anyway, they talk about 8Zone finally helping you to take control and get all of the results that you are looking for. But does it work?

What are the ingredients?
Rhodiola rosea-a natural energy supplement that will not help you to lose weight or burn fat, it is somewhat similar to guarana. But it does not promote any weight loss, even in any known combinations

Panax ginseng-otherwise known as Asian ginseng, this has been shown to promote a greater energy and otherwise fat loss through thermogenic fat burning. It is characterized by the presence of ginsenosides, and it has been shown to possibly promote fat loss if used in the right amounts.

Licorice root extract-it has been known to soothe an upset stomach and alleviate diarrhea. But it does not actually promote weight loss.

Green tea leaf extract-a thermogenic form of caffeine, it is also rich in antioxidants like EGCG. However, one should keep in mind that it requires at least 400mg of 50% caffeine considering the fact that caffeine is the actual fat burning component

Bitter orange fruit extract-a formula including the active ingredient known as synephrine, this has been pushed as the alternative to ephedra. However, in this diluted form, you don’t necessarily get the powerful effects you are looking for. It would depend in part on the concentration of synephrine actually in the ingredient listing

Maca root-a natural sleep aid and relaxant used by Natives of the islands, this does not promote weight loss and has been used similarly to alcohol while actually still causing liver damage.

Choline bitartrate-a water soluble essential nutrient, this was chemically synthesized in 1866 after being discovered in 1864. But it has never been connected to weight loss.

Grapeseed extract-a natural antioxidant, this has been used to promote greater hair growth among other things, but not to promote weight loss.

Cranberry extract-full of natural antioxidants and vitamins, this can replenish deficiencies you may have while also killing off potentially harmful free radicals.

Bottom line
8Zone does not actually have the right ingredients for the most, using ingredients that actually have nothing to do with weight loss at all. And they don’t actually have the right amounts. All in all, they don’t have what it takes in general to actually promote the results that you are looking for, and we would definitely recommend that you find something else.
