Anatril is a fat burner that works by blocking the absorption of carbs that you eat. It claims to work without the use of caffeine or ephedra, and will help you gain control over weight fluctuations. It also allows you to lose weight while still eating some of the foods you love. Another claim is that there are no side effects. This sounds like the dream fat burner. Letting you eat what you want while still seeing results, and not having to deal with the side effects. How true are all these claims? Let’s see if the ingredients can give us a clue.
What are the ingredients?
Green Tea Extract – This popular ingredient has actually been shown to increase the metabolism when used in the right amounts. However, we’re not sure if this product contains high enough amounts because of the lack of an ingredients list on the site. We also found it interesting that green tea is a high source of caffeine even though the website claims it contains no caffeine.
Phaseolus Vulgaris – This is actually a scientific name for the white bean. It has been proven in some studies to effective block carb absorption, and help men lose weight. However, that was proven at 445 mg concentration. It is unknown what the concentration is in this product.
Fenugreek – This herb is actually used as a spice in curry. It is effective in lowering cholesterol, and in controlling glucose tolerance in diabetics. There have not been any weight loss studies conducted.
Gymnema Sylvestre Extract – This leaf extract is used to control hyperglycemia by reducing blood sugar.
Alpha Lipoic Acid – This antioxidant has been shown to treat chronic liver disease. It has also been shown to reduce toxicity in rats, but has not been tested for that effect on humans.
Bottom line
This product most likely has no side effects. They use the right ingredients, but we just don’t know if they are in the right amounts. Due to the cost we doubt they are. However, with a money back guarantee this may be one of the better products on the market to try.
