5 Factor Diet is one of the celebrity diet crazes that is now available to the public. It was developed by Harley Pasternak to give celebrities a comprehensive diet and exercise plan. Many celebrities back up the 5 Factor Diet and attest to its effectiveness. However, they also had Harvey working with them personally. You get the same program, only it’s in a book. I don’t know about you, but that is much less motivating.

What are the ingredients?
The ingredients for this diet are essentially the 5 factors.

5 Week Plan – For 5 weeks you ar supposed to follow the diet and exercise recommendation out-lined in the book for maximum results.

5 Meals a Day – For those 5 weeks you will be eating 5 meals a day that are specified in the book.

5 Ingredient Meals – Each meal is made with 5 basic ingredients to make them low-fat, high fiber, and low on the glycemic index.

25 Minute Workouts – The exercise routine is broken down into 25 minute increments for you to follow.

5 Cheat Days – During those 5 weeks you have 5 days to cheat and eat what you want, or not exercise if you choose.

Bottom line
5 Factor Diet is a safe diet plan, and if you stick to if you will most likely be successful in losing weight. However, if you have tried diet plans in the past then there is nothing special about this one that is easier to stick to, or that helps you to lose even more weight. Without your own personal trainer it is hard to stick with a plan like this for 5 weeks. And realistically, they only give you a 5 week plan. They give you no real direction as to after that. The biggest factor however is that much of this is just common sense. You don’t really have to pay for that.
